Kitchen Renovations in Cape May County, NJ

Shore house kitchens that work in July: rental-tough finishes, open layouts for a full house, and a schedule planned around your rental calendar.

Kitchen Renovations

The kitchen is where a shore house earns its rent and where a family actually spends the week. We renovate kitchens across Cape May County — from a cabinet-and-counter refresh in a Wildwood Crest condo to a full layout change in an Avalon or Stone Harbor single-family home.

Every kitchen starts with a design consultation on site, so the layout, cabinet line, counters, and appliance plan are scoped against the house you actually have — its plumbing, its electrical, and its flood-zone constraints.

Kitchens built for a full house in July

A shore kitchen serves ten people on a rainy day and a different family every week. We design for that: more counter and landing space, durable surfaces, hardware that does not corrode, and storage that renters can figure out without a tour.

  • Quartz and solid-surface counters that shrug off sand, sunscreen, and red wine
  • Cabinet boxes and finishes chosen for houses that close up for the winter
  • Open-plan layouts toward the living area where the structure allows

One contractor for the whole kitchen

A complete kitchen remodel touches design, demolition, plumbing, electrical, gas, permits, and half a dozen finish trades. Shore is your single contractor: we hire and coordinate every subcontractor and licensed trade, pull the permits, schedule the inspections, and manage the job from the first walk-through to the final punch list.

What drives the cost of a kitchen remodel

Every kitchen is priced from its own written proposal after the free consultation. The biggest drivers are whether the layout changes, the cabinet line and countertop material, how much plumbing, electrical, and gas work moves, and the finishes you choose. Shore homes add their own factors — access, delivery, and coastal-grade materials.

Do you need a permit?

Under New Jersey's construction code, replacing cabinets, counters, and flooring in the same layout is generally ordinary maintenance. Moving walls, relocating plumbing, or adding circuits needs a permit, and we manage those permits as part of the project. If you are in a flood zone, we also flag whether the scope could approach your town's substantial-improvement threshold.

We renovate kitchens in Avalon, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Ocean City, Cape May, Cape May Point, North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, and the mainland townships — single-family homes, duplexes, and condos alike.

How it works

From design consultation to finished room

  1. 1

    Request a design consultation

Add the renovation to your project list on the Service Menu or call the office. There is no charge to request it, and nothing is booked or billed online.

  2. 2

    Walk the house together

A Shore construction manager meets you on site — or walks it with your property manager while you join by phone — to measure, photograph, talk finishes, and flag permit, flood-zone, and access questions early.

  3. 3

    Get a written, fixed-price proposal

You receive a written scope and price before any work is scheduled. Licensed plumbing, electrical, and gas work is performed by licensed subcontractors we hire and coordinate.

  4. 4

    Build on the off-season calendar

We sequence demo, trades, and finish work around your rental calendar and your town's construction rules, and send photo updates as each stage closes.

  5. 5

    Final walk-through

We walk the finished work with you, close out the punch list, and make sure permits and inspections are signed off.
